What is Grotta Resort?

Grotta Resort sits on 7.5 acres in the volcanic highlands of Musanze, about 20 minutes from Volcanoes National Park. Its signature attraction is a natural lava cave route that runs about 150 metres underground, with a short scenic option suitable for children and a longer adventure route for older kids. Above ground, the resort has an animal farm (cows, goats, rabbits, and a bunny village), mini-golf, cycling, hiking trails, a swimming pool, hot tub, and landscaped gardens. Family rooms and a restaurant make it a practical base for gorilla-trekking parents with children.

Supports local employment and conservation through tourism in the Virunga foothills.
