What is Spier Wine Farm?
Spier Wine Farm is one of the oldest wine estates in Stellenbosch and one of the most family-friendly. While adults enjoy wine tastings or the farm-to-table restaurants, children have the Elemental Play Garden (themed around water, air, fire and earth), the Eagle Encounters raptor rehabilitation centre with flying shows, and dedicated grape juice tastings. The farm also has walking and biking trails, a craft market, and expansive lawns for picnics. The Buzz Club offers supervised activities for children aged 3–12.
Spier is a WWF Conservation Champion and uses regenerative farming practices, including a flock of Indian Runner ducks for natural pest control.
